My online business blog to success.

About one and half month ago I started writing online business blogs with the dream of making lucrative income in order to make my life easier and richer. Well this is my first update on how everything is going with my blog. I have had this domain name registered for about one year now but only recently have I started building this website. With that said I want to give you my statistics over the past year.

Stats: 10 Unique Visitors a day.

About two months ago I started to use certain techniques that would boost up your blog and generate you income. I read in an article top ways to generate income from your blog were:

Advertising : Google Adwords, Adbrite, and other advertising companies

Sell direct ad space

Affiliate Programs & Services

Well I took on all three of them. I use Google Adwords to generate money every time a internet surfer clicks on an ad. I am selling direct ad space on every webpage in 100×100 ad spots on the top of the right navigation column. The affiliate programs & services that I am advertising are Abrite Advertising, wired2host, and Commission River. More will come as my blog continues to grow.

 Ways I built my traffic

The first technique I used was make sure that every blog article I write gets indexed at Google. I have written over five posts and every page has been indexed by Google.

I submitted my posts to Digg, Reddit, and other social networks.

Optimized my SEO tags

After all of that I would like to talk about my stats:

October: 20 unique visitors daily

November: 40 unique visitors daily, top key words: Online Business Reviews on yahoo and second page on google.

I currently earn $1.12 a day and growing. This has been very exciting and I hope this gives everyone inspiration on continuing blogging and the money will start generating.

The long term “treasure” in a blog is the traffic. If you successfully generate lots of traffic then the blog becomes a valuable property and could sell for a considerable amount of money to a corporation or individual that wants that traffic.

I have heard so many people talking about this that I am sure it comes as no surprise to say that the best way to find jobs in a recession is to investigate jobs on employer websites:

-employers do not use recruiters in recessions because they cost money
-job boards are flooded with applicants

People just do not look for jobs on employer websites. There are thousands of employer websites in most cities and many of the job sit on there for months without applications.

This is where most of the jobs are and I found this far more effective than other means.

I started using a research jobs site called Hound that I do not think anyone knows about because it is run by a small company that does not advertise.

All Hound.com does is show you unadvertised job openings that are not publicly advertised and are located on employer websites.

Very few people realize that most employers post their job on their own sites and not on job boards like Monster, CareerBuilder, etc. because these sites charge employers up to $500 to post a single job. In my experience (I am getting more interviews that I ever have), your chances of getting interviews and hired are much better when you are applying to jobs that are not advertised that no one knows about.

I have gotten a ton of interviews through the Hound site. If you are looking for a job I would highly recommend using Hound . What most people do not realize is that most jobs are found on employer websites and not job boards. Hound puts all of the jobs it finds from employer websiste (every Fortune 500, Inc. 500 and other company it can locate) on its site.

When you start seeing sites advertise themselves a lot that should be a warning sign of sorts because that means that lots of people will start going and applying to the jobs. I really trust Hound because it does not advertise. You can find the site at http://www.hound.com
